Good Morning
Playoff baseball was electric in Fenway on Tuesday night as the Red Sox roasted the Yankees, but another Wild Card game trims the MLB Playoff field to eight this evening. It’s Dodgers vs. Cardinals (8:00 pm ET). October giveth, and October taketh away.

Red Sox Rock Yanks in AL Wild Card
Boston Defeats New York (6-2) To Set Up Matchup With The Rays in ALDS
Boston is moving on! In what was arguably the most anticipated Wild Card matchup since the MLB introduced the one-game playoff format in 2012, the Red Sox took care of business against the Yankees at Fenway and will move on to a best-of-5 series against the Rays on Thursday in Game 1 of the ALDS.
Xander Bogarts launched a two-run shot to dead-center to get the scoring going in the first. Kyle Schwarber then hit a solo homer in the third to extend the lead to 3-0 which led to the Yankees pulling their ace Gerrit Cole. From that point on, Boston didn’t look back as they cruised to a 6-2 victory over their historic rival.
After being lit up for seven earned runs in just 2.2 innings by New York just eleven days prior, Nathan Eovaldi was locked in from the start, fanning eight batters and only allowing one run in 5.1 innings pitched. Cole, on the other hand, continued his late season struggles, allowing 3 runs in just 2.0 innings pitched.
Watch: Red Sox Roll Yankees in AL Wild Card (6-2)
The Red Sox now face the Al East champion Rays who had the best record in the American League with 100 wins. Tampa Bay won the season series 11-8.

Urban Meyer Already on the Hot Seat
Jaguars Head Coach Getting Blasted for Viral Dance Video, 0-4 Start
The Urban Meyer era in Jacksonville got off to a terrible start on the football field, and things got worse this weekend. Meyer was seen in a viral video where a woman — not his wife — was dancing on him. The video went viral, causing apologies from Meyer to his family, the Jaguars organization and players.
The head coach was hired by the team last January before drafting QB Trevor Lawrence with the No. 1 overall pick. The team started 0-4 before getting tossed into an off-the-field mess causing Jags’ owner Shad Khan to publicly reprimand Meyer, calling his actions ‘inexcusable.’ He also said Meyer needs to regain the team’s trust.
Early reports have said numerous closed-door meetings in the last few days have discussed Meyer’s future in Jacksonville. Four games in, and it could get ugly.
