Georgia Jumps Ohio State for No. 1 in Latest College Football Playoff Rankings (3.0)
The next set of College Football Playoff Rankings (3 of 6) were revealed on Tuesday, and our first shift has occurred. The two-time defending champion Georgia Bulldogs have supplanted Ohio State as the No. 1 team. UGA ran roughshod on #9 Ole Miss last Saturday (52-17), and the Dawgs should be perfect by the time face #8 Alabama on Dec. 2. Meanwhile, Ohio State and Michigan are on a collision course for their head-to-head matchup next Saturday (Nov. 25). Florida State continues to hold the No. 4 slot while Washington and Oregon are Pac-12 powers waiting for someone to slip up.
